Valentine’s Day is upon us and chances are, you and your spouse/ beau/ partner are planning a date night. We all know that when parents get to spend quality time together, your conversations seem to circle around the kids and home life. Soon it inevitably peters out to quietly eating and generally enjoying each other’s company.

For this Valentine’s Day, why not go into the date prepared? I’ve put together 15 questions for you and your date to answer separately prior to your night out. Present this to them a few hours before you head out, or just pull it out on your phone during dinner. My wife and I have done things like this before and it’s opened up a deeper insight into each other’s thoughts and encouraged real natural conversation that focuses on us. After more than a decade together it seems like we’ve said just about everything (both good and bad) and we know all there is to know about each other. Yet somehow my wife manages to surprise me in fantastic and unexpected ways. Find out things you might have never known about the person you know the most.
