This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we are making our own alphabet animals. This is an idea I got when I helped out at my daughter’s preschool. This is a fun and active way that you can teach your kids about the alphabet.
Materials Needed:
Construction Paper (Two different colors.)
White paper
Glue
Scissors
Directions:
Start by drawing a large uppercase O on the white paper. You can help your child cut out a large triangle and 2 feet from the construction paper. Then cut out 2 circles with the other color construction paper. Add glue to the top of the O and add the triangle. Next glue on the circles as eyes on the triangle you used for the head and beak. Add the feet on the bottom part of the O. Let dry. Now you have a great way to teach your child about the letter O.
