Art and Craftspic This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we continue with the Halloween theme. My daughter Jordan and I made some Halloween placemats for our dinner table. We made four of them. Each of them were personalized with our names on them. Jordan and I made a pumpkin for me, a bat for her, a ghost for my wife, and a cat for Lily.

Materials Needed:

Construction Paper

Glitter

Stickers

Alphabet stickersIMG_7568

Scissors

Tape or glue

Pencil

Directions:

Decide what type of Halloween pictures you want to make. Using a pencil draw an outline of each Halloween image. Cut out the design from the paper. Decorate and personalize each image to you and your kids liking.

For our project we used foam sticker pieces for the names and construction paper to decorate each placemat. For example on Jordan’s bat we used two small round foam sticker pieces as eyes. We kept it simple just by adding her name by using foam alphabet stickers. Hope you can use this week’s Art and Crafts idea to brighten up your dinner table!
