This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we are creating heart shape math puzzles. This is a great hands-on math activity that helps your child with basic addition and subtraction equations. It is not only fun, but educational as well.
Materials Needed:
Construction paper
Markers
Scissors
Directions:
Have your child cut out some heart shapes from construction paper. Next take a marker and have them write different addition and subtraction problems on each one. Next cut each heart in half so that each problem would only match up with the correct answer. Spread all the pieces out on the table and mix them up. Lastly have your child solve each math problem.
