Art and CraftspicThis week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we are making some ladybugs out of paper plates. Now that spring is almost here we are seeing ladybugs around our home. This gave us the idea for this week’s craft.

Materials Needed:

Construction paper

Paper plate

Red paint

Paintbrush

Scissors

Glue

Directions:

Paint the paper plate red. Let the paint dry. Cut out an oval shape, four medium size circles, two small circles, and a triangle from the black construction paper. Glue the oval shape to the top of the lady bug. Cut out two circles from white construction paper. Glue those two white circles on top of the black oval. Then glue the two small black circles onto the white circles to make the eyes. Glue the remaining black circles anywhere on the red part of the plate. Lastly glue the triangle piece of construction paper on the opposite side of the plate from the eyes.
