Art and CraftspicThis week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we are making Olaf treats. We recently went to see Disney on Ice. The characters from “Frozen” played a big role in that show. We saw some Olaf treats at the concession stands that night. Later that week we made our very own Olaf treats at home. Please note you can use raisins and carrots to make it a bit healthier treat.

Materials Needed:

Big and mini Marshmallows

Candy Corn/Carrot sticks

Chocolate Chips/Raisins

Stick Pretzels

Black licorice

Pretzel Rod

Directions:

Slide three marshmallows onto a pretzel rod. Break some pretzel sticks in smaller pieces to make arms and insert into the middle marshmallow. Insert mini chocolate chips or raisins for the buttons and eyes. Push a candy corn or carrot into the top marshmallow for the nose. Use small pretzel sticks to fasten two mini marshmallows for Olaf’s feet. Attach each foot on the bottom base of Olaf. Finally use some black licorice as Olaf’s “hair.” Your child just did exactly what Elsa did in the movie. They both made their very own Olaf. Now you can save these treats for after dinner!Olafmarsh
