This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we are making our own paper plate snake. This is an easy and fun craft that you and your child can do together. Most of the materials should be around the house. This craft will help your toddler learn how to use scissors properly and strengthen their fine motor skills.
Materials Needed:
Paper plate
Construction paper
Scissors
Glue
Google eyes
Markers
Directions:
Color both sides of the paper plate. Draw on a spiral. Decorate the plate with the stickers. Draw a face on the circle in the center of the spiral. Carefully cut along the line of the spiral. Make a hole in the head of the snake, thread through a length of string and secure with a knot. Use the string to hang the snake.
