This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we continue to get ready for St. Patrick’s Day. This time we are making a 3D shamrock ornament. Once you have completed this craft you can hang up your child’s handy work up on the ceiling or wall. It is a nice way to decorate the house for St. Patrick’s Day and you child helped make the house look festive for the holiday.
Materials Needed:
Green construction paper
Scissors
String
Directions:
On the green construction paper make an outline of a shamrock. Cut out the shamrock. Repeat the previous two steps to make another shamrock. Fold the shamrocks so they are two sided. Cut on one of the shamrocks right up to the center. Slide two shamrocks together, top to bottom. Tape, staple or glue a ribbon or thread onto the top so you can hang your shamrock up.
