This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we are creating some Valentine’s Day butterflies that make a nice gift for your kid’s class party at school. This is a fun and easy craft that your kids will enjoy making and sharing for the upcoming holiday.
Materials Needed:
Lollipops
Googly eyes
Glue
Red and pink cardstock paper
Black marker
Foam hearts
Scissors
Directions:
Have your child cut out wings from both the red and pink paper. Make one set of colored wings smaller than the other. Glue the smaller wings on top of the larger set of wings. Glue eyes to the lollipop and draw a smile with the marker. Cut out two slits in the middle of the paper so you can stick the lollipop through. Decorate wings with foam hearts.
