For those who don’t follow all the news during the NFL offseason you might not know that Benjamin Watson will be playing for a new team for the 2016 season. Watson, who plays the tight end position will be leaving the New Orleans Saints and go up to Baltimore to play for the Ravens.
Before Benjamin leaves New Orleans he is giving back ONE MORE time. The reason that the words one more are capitalized is because that is the name of the foundation he set up. With his foundation he is partnering with the New Orleans Family Justice Center to help #onemoresurvivor. The NOFJC is a local organization that offers various services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Benjamin’s foundation ONE MORE will match the first $5,000 raised during the week long donation drive now to April 3rd. Benjamin is truly passionate about this cause and the New Orleans community and he wants to help one more time before he leaves for Baltimore.
Through his foundation, he and his family seek to spread the hope and love of Christ to others in their community by caring for neighbors and supporting organizations dedicated to service. During his time in New Orleans he has had the privilege of partnering with a number of charities that are doing phenomenal work many important arenas.
