In 1994, Mariah Carey released an instant Christmas Classic, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” The song has remained towards the top of the holiday song charts for years now.

On December 3rd, 2012, Life of Dad, the social network for dads, released a cover version of the song, featuring dads from across the United States and Cananda belting out the lyrics. Some dads sang better than others.

On December 4th, 2012, Mariah Carey realized that this dad version was going to sweep the nation. She had to do something to reclaim the song for herself. That night, she appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and sang an excellent version of the song, with Fallon, the Roots, and some kids.

I think you know where we’re going with this. We challenge you, Mariah Carey, to a sing off on Christmas Eve, in Bethlehem. Yes the real Bethlehem. Tweet us @lifeofdadshow if you need a ride from the airport.
