batcaveFor those parents looking for some fun and interactive toys this holiday season, these three toys will surely put a smile your child’s face. I was looking for some great Christmas gifts for my daughters and my nephew. I am pretty sure that they will be happy with what I picked out for them. Since the holiday season is about giving I thought I would share with you a couple of my thoughts on these toys. Hopefully it make your holiday shopping easier.

Imaginext DC Super Friends Batcave

When I was a kid and saw the Michael Keaton “Batman” film I wanted to be the caped crusader. Batman has all the coolest gadgets and drives a sweet car. Who wouldn’t want to be Batman? Now fast forward to the present, I am still not Batman, but I can pass the wonders of the Dark Knight to my nephew. The Imaginext DC Super Friends Batcave is a really fun playset that I know he will love to play with.

Just like in the films and comic books, this Batcave is equipped with all sorts of gadgetry. There is a mechanical claw to work on the Batcycle, a secret entrance, a turnstile, a telescope and a lot more. Part of the interactive fun begins when you turn your Batman figure on the disk to reveal the different gadgets. There is even a Bat Signal that really lights up and a launcher that lets you fire projectiles at Batman’s enemies. You even get both Batman and Robin figures to go along with the Batcave. This playset is geared for children ages 3 to 8 years old. The selling price for the Batcave is $55.00.

Disney Princess Klip Klop Stable by Little People

With our recent trip to Disney World, both my daughters now have a bigger love (if you can even imagine) for the Disney Princesses. So when I saw the Klip Klop stable I knew this gift would be perfect for them. The set comes with Rapunzel and Aurora. Both princesses each have a horse to ride along with in this playset. Maximus goes with Rapunzel and Samson is the horse to go with Aurora. This set is very interactive. There are fun sounds, music, phrases and even some “klip-klop” action.klipklop

For the “klip klop” action all you need to do is place the horses on the ramp, give them a little nudge and they “klip-klop” down the ramp all on their own. The set has two royal areas. It has a 3-tiered tower and a horse stable that each has with special rooms. One room for example is when you spin the thumbwheel on the dance floor it starts up some music which makes the horses dance. My youngest got a kick out of thisfeature when she saw it in the store. This toy is geared for kids 18 months to 5 years old and has a retail price of $35.00.

Max Steel Sword

Based off the popular animated series “Max Steel,” the interactive turbo sword feels like it comes right out of the show and into your lmaxsteeliving room. For those who have never heard of Max Steel here is a quick synopsis. “Max Steel” centers on Maxwell McGrath and his alien pal Steelis. The two can combine their “turbo-energy powers” to generate the superhero Max Steel. The character has been around since the late 1990s, but now is back in full swing with the new show.

Kids can use the sword and head gear and pretend that they are Max Steel. The turbo sword has phrases, lights and sounds that is taken right from the show. The sword has motion sensors and makes authentic battle sounds when swung. Plus when you attach the head gear, aka Steel, to the sword your child can unlock even more lights and sound effects. There are 19 total phrases and sound effects. The sword sells for $39.99 and is geared for kids 4 and up. Batteries are included, so your kids can have fun right out of the box.

(Please note: I was given these toys, but my opinions are my own.)
