There have been some fun and entertaining family movies that hit the movie theater and Netflix recently. Along with those films there has been some great toys to complement those movies. With these toys your child can continue the story where the film ended. My family and I recently saw Disney’s “Cinderella” and my daughters loved the different dresses that Ella wore in the film. My nephew saw “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” movie and loved it.
If you couldn’t make it to the theater to see those movies don’t worry Netflix still has you covered. Last month Netflix released “Ever After High: Spring Unsprung.” This movie is centered on the most exciting time called in Ever After High called the Spring Fairest. It is a celebration of renewal, creativity, and fashion. “Ever After High” is a story about a boarding school for teens destined to follow in their famous parents’ fairytale footsteps. The characters of Apple White, Daring Charming and Blondie Lockes are looking to embrace their “happily ever afters,” while others, like Raven Queen and Cedar Wood, choose to rewrite their stories.
These three films have inspired some cool toys that are perfect for those Easter baskets. Here are few of those toys from each line.
Disney Cinderella Dolls
Disney and Mattel worked together to make some exquisite dolls to go along with the film. There are few different version of Ella, who was given the name Cinderella by her mean stepsisters. With the help of her Fairy Godmother, Ella is able to go to the ball and meet her prince. For Ella there is the 
royal ball doll and the wedding day doll.
The royal ball doll Ella comes with the iconic dress with multicolor blue and purple layers. She sparkles from head to toe with delicate, magical butterflies and foil print accents and wears her infamous “glass” slipper shoes that sweep her across the ballroom floor. The wedding dress Ella doll comes with a white satin gown with romantic floral design on the bodice and skirt, sheer long sleeves, pleated waist, and a flowing drape. The accessories include a golden tiara with multicolor “gems”, coordinating teardrop earrings and a large, regal wedding ring.
The Fairy Godmother comes with an 18th Century style white dress with colorful luminescent tones and shimmering star accents. Her raised silvery wand will help grants Ella’s wishes to come true. Cate Blanchett played the evil stepmother perfectly. This doll comes in a head to toe green satin dress. The pleated bodice sweeps around her back creating a high collared, modern silhouette. Golden gloves, coordinating necklace and a feathery headpiece enhance her wicked glamor.
SpongeBob Toys
Mega Bloks came out with the SpongeBob SquarePants Mega Bloks Burgermobile Showdown set for you and your kids to reenact scenes from the movie. The fun-filled boat converts into a food truck which is seen in “SpongeBob SquarePants Movie: Sponge Out of Water.” The Burgermobile can shoot ice cream and comes with Invincibubble aka SpongeBob and Sir Pinch-a-lot aka Mr. Krabs’ superhero alter-ego. Each character is ready for a food fight and can strike back with a bubble launcher. Your kids will have a blast trying to keep an eye on the bottle containing the precious Krabby Patty recipe. Plus you can collect all of the sets to build your own Bikini Bottom world.
There is also the SpongeBob Hot Wheels collection. Your kids can bring the action home with real-life cars scaled down to 1:64. The line features SpongeBob, Squidward, Patrick and some others from Bikini Bottom.
The Ever After High Dolls
There are dolls from Ever After High that come right out of the Unsprung movie on Netflix and right into your homes with all the style and flare that your kids love about this series. The dolls in this series are Holly O’Hair, Cedar Wood, Cerise Hood, Briar Beauty, Lizzie Hearts, and Raven Queen.
Filled with “hexcitement” for the Spring Fairest, Lizzie Hearts, daughter of Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts, has created exquisite dresses for her friends: Cerise Hood, Cedar Wood, Briar Beauty and Holly O’Hair. The Holly O’Hair doll, who is the daughter of Rapunzel, has her signature colors and style. 
Her dress combines a wicked cool black and white pattern to symbolize winter’s end with fabulous holly flower details that represent spring. Fashionable pieces mix her fairytale heritage with the teen’s modern style with purple on her high-low skirt, a rich purple flowered collar, sheer sleeves and underskirt, graphic print leggings and a golden flower-detailed belt. Other dolls in this series have the same amount of fantastic accessories.
