Some are happy with just one, others enjoy the company of 5 or 6. No, I’m not talking about beers here, but kids! We wanted to know how many kids the moms and dads of the Life of Dad Facebook community would like to have if money wasn’t an issue. So we asked, “If money was no object how many children would you have?” and we got hundreds of responses! Here’s just a sampling of your incredible replies to this interesting question.

Jonathan Hook: We planned on 2. Ended up with 5. Wouldn’t send any of them back. It never occurred to me that income had anything to do with raising kids. Still doesn’t.

Eric Ramsey: I have 7. What’s this money you speak of? I’m unfamiliar with the concept. But in this hypothetical, I’d Gengis Khan this damn place.

Gabrielle Gracey: 4. But ill stick with just 2. So many say money doesn’t matter but last I checked I want to be able to afford my children eating healthy meals, good health insurance, and a good home and a safe car…ALL takes money. If I had a 3rd child I would have to cheapen our meals which means less nutrition for my already 2 growing boys. We buy used everywhere we can but I refuse to cheapen their food.

Lentje Garcia-Bontekoe: If money was no object I’d have 7….but I would definitely hire someone to assist….and I really mean assist, not taking care of them completely while I sip piña colada by the pool. I have twins and I know that in order to keep your sanity you haaaave to ask for help.

Jessica Wainwright: I wouldn’t give birth to any more. But, I would buy a huge farm in the country and foster kids of all ages that needed a safe, loving place to grow up and learn the true values of childhood.

Maica Jenincy: I’m an only child and if money is not a problem probably have 5-7 kids: 3 boys,2 girls or 4 boys,3 girls. I am really proud to say that my first born is really handsome,he’s just 9 months right now so somehow, I would like to see 5-7 kids who are as good looking as my baby boy.

Erin Daniluk: Meaning a home where everyone had their space?
Not enough money – ever. My two is enough, though at times I think my husband wants another. The factory is closed and I am inching very slowly back to sleeping all night.

Tyler Waterfield: 10. But most of them will be adopted so my wife doesn’t die from baby havin’. Also, every one of them would have their own helicopter and Nike shox. They would also be multi-lingual and combat trained by the Israeli Principal 3s and Navy Seals.

AshleyandDustin Irvin: We have 3 so far. But I’ve always wanted 7. I come from a big family myself. And money DOES play a huge factor. YOU just can’t bare out as many kids as you want… Everything they need and want cost so much money these days. Plus. I’m a stay at home mom & my husband works 5 days a week just to provide for the 3 we have now.

Sarah Ueberroth Langdon: We already have three, some days I want more then I fall asleep and wake up relaxed and refreshed, and our house doesn’t smell like a diaper anymore! 😊 there are no outlet covers and no playhouse Disney songs stuck in my head. Life is good with 3.

Tom Chesrown: It is not a question of money, it is a question of time, commitment, and attention that each child needs to grow up happy and confident. Therefore, three would be the perfect number.

Mike Sleighter: In an overpopulated world that has dwindling natural resources I personally think it’s irresponsible to have a bunch of kids. That is just my personal opinion of course.
