Every one of us parents has that one thing we hope our children learns, inherits from us or accomplishes in life. We recently asked the moms and dads of our Facebook community to tell us the one thing they would like to give to their child. No limits, no dream to big. Here’s just a small sample of what you told us.

Anthony Hardin: More of my time. Being a truck driver is rough at times. But I do what I have to do to make sure my family has a roof over their head.

Randall Shepherd: The ability to find happiness in this ugly world we live in.

Jon Gosselin: To be the best version of themselves through education of all forms. To figure out what their biggest dreams and desires are and to go for them. Everything else will fall in line with this. I wish I never gave up on my dreams when I was younger.

Kelly Renee: For my son, I would give him perfect skin. He struggles with his eczema really bad and for my daughter, I would give her the ability to love herself no matter what.

James Childs: Equal time with both of her parents and to meet her paternal family so she can grow and develop into a well rounded and adjusted adult.

Justin Chase: More time with me. Since I split with her mother, I don’t get to see her as much as I’d like. But I try to see her whenever I can.

Jeremy Close: A better life than the one I’ve made for myself, so I guess just teaching him to be happy no matter what life hands him as well as striving for more.

Marcus Kastler: A chance to erase their past with their real dad and let them be my kids instead.

William Johnson: A top notch education and compassion for their fellow man.

Jessica Lorenzi: They have a childhood they don’t need to recover from.

Renee Hallard: To see themselves through my eyes, then they’ll know what how truly beautiful they are.

Heather Stage: The knowledge that doing the RIGHT thing is rarely doing the EASY thing.

Miguel Vega: An official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle!

Shawn Patel: A house with a yard and a puppy. I’m sick of the apartment life.

Heather Renee Griffith: A mute button ….you know you all are thinking it!
