Justforkicksnew This weekend Marvel will release their second film from the Avengers series with “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” I was lucky enough to get to see the film earlier this week. It had action, humor, and scenes that looked like it came right out of a comic book. It was just as good or even a hair better than the first. As always make sure you stay for the end credits. So to keep up with the anticipation of the film’s release I thought why not showcase sneakers that feature “The Worlds Mightiest Heroes.”

A few years back Vans and Marvel collaborated to create some Avengers kicks. Vans uses the Sk8-Hi Reissue model. It showcased Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk and Thor on each side panel while the Era and Slip-On feature a group collage on the front and back panels. The roll-out of the collection has begun with Spider-Man and Iron Man models debuting on the Vans Era and Sk8-Hi Reissue sneakers.

Reebok partnered up with Marvel to make 10 of Marvel’s characters, including Captain America. Two of the designs featured Black Widow from The Avengers and X-Men character Emma Frost. Each shoe featured an insole with a classic panel of the character that inspired the shoe. The trainers were designed by graphic artist Anthony Petrie.

Nike Iron Man Dunk High

iron manFive years ago Nike SB shoe division had a “quickstrike” that had an Iron Man theme. It was called the Iron Man Nike SB Dunk High. The color was inspired by Tony Stark’s favorite colors red and yellow. The Nike SB Dunk High featured a full nubuck upper and a black patent leather Swoosh trimmed in yellow with a grey midsole, and a yellow outsole.

Air Jordan V – Custom Hulk

There are a ton of great sneaker artists out there. One artist made an incredibly cool Hulk inspired Air Jordan V. You can see Hulk’s green and purple colors all over the shoe. There is even Hulk’s fist on each shoe to make sure you know that these kicks are designed after Bruce Banner’s alter-ego.Air jordan hulk
