Madeleine Coghlan‏ is an actress on the rise. Coghlan is launching her newest venture as the host of Radio Disney’s skit show Maddy and Chase. She can also be seen in the independent horror film Holidays with Kevin Smith and Seth Green. She portrays ‘Maxine,’ a modern-day ‘Carrie’; a school outcast who is bullied and out to get revenge. The stories in Holidays put a scary spin on annual holiday traditions like Valentine’s Day and Christmas and premiered at Tribeca April 14th.

Madeleine got her start in acting at a young age when she attended an audition with her mom, also a Hollywood actress. She was booked on a commercial at five years old and continued to audition and perform in stage productions throughout middle school and high school. Since graduating from high school, she has continued to pursue her passion full time and can be seen in shows such as Nickelodeon’s “Wendell and Vinnie” and the famed ABC series Castle as well as the independent film King Saud.

Madeleine is currently studying acting at Groundlings in Los Angeles and occasionally takes classes at UCB. She loves comedy and drama equally and alongside acting, loves to develop and write characters. In acting, she looks up to Marion Cotillard and Rachel McAdams, and her favorite part about the craft is getting to know her character and becoming a different person. In life, she looks up to her parents for their determination and energy. She enjoys writing, kickboxing, hiking, cooking and antiquing, as well as spending time with her St. Bernard, Dorothy. She holds NKLA (No Kill Shelter) close to her heart and is a vegan and animal lover.
