IMG_7305 Spring is here and with it brings some new and cool toys. There are some fun play sets, water blasters, and interactive toys that your kids will love at this toys guide. My daughters have been eyeing some toys when we are at the store. Plus they have been invited to some of their friends’ birthday parties and the girls and I went shopping for gifts for each party. While we were looking to pick up some gifts I saw some awesome toys. Here are a few fresh toys that just hit the market that might be on your kid’s wish list.

NERF Super Soaker – Arctic Shock Water Blaster

During the hot summer months one way to cool down is to have a water blaster fight. Super Soakers have been around since I was a kid, but it seems each year the brand comes out with new editions to their blaster line. This year their latest invention is the Arctic Shock Water Blaster. In this edition you can add ice cubes to keep the water you spray at your friends cold.

The Arctic Shock also has a pump to fire system that allows you to be able to blast your friends in one quick motion. The Shock holds up to 25 ounces of water and is geared for children 6 years old and up. It has a retail price of $19.99. The hazy and humid days of summer are coming and this Super Soaker will cool down your kids. If you have teenage boys, then buy gel blaster brisbane for paintball sessions.

Beyblade Metal Fury Hyper-Strike Battle SetIMG_7302

If your kids are fans of the beyblade stadium Games than this play set will definitely be something that they will enjoy. The Metal Fury set allows two Hyperblades to engage in battle. The set includes two customizable Hyperblades with many colors to choose from. The fusion wheel can be configured up to four different ways depending if you want to set your bot for defense or attack. You can see how these toys have undergone crucial inspection from the Dimensional Inspection Lab to make sure that it’s safe for kids.

There are also two ripcords, two collector cards with downloadable codes to battle online at the Beyblade website. My nephew played with this set and loved every minute. From customizing to battling the Hyperblades he was playing with this set for hours. This set sells for $34.99 and you will even find yourself engaging in battle with your own customized Hyperblade against your kids.

My Little Pony – Walkin’ Talkin’ Pinkie Pie

My daughters love the cartoon series “My Little Pony.” Once this version of Pinkie Pie came out I knew they would like to play with this toy. This Pinkie Pie can walk, talk, and sing with your kids. Plus this interactive pony can dance as well. All you need to tap the balloons on one of her legs and she is off and running. Two “AA” batteries are included with the toy, which is great since my girls wanted to play with Pinkie Pie as soon as we got home.IMG_7303

Play-Doh – Box O’ Color

One thing that my daughters and I enjoy is doing crafts. From making jewelry to painting we try and do something creative each day. Sometimes we play with Play-Doh and I enjoy watching my little sculptors use their imagination to create things. The new Box O’ Color is a set we can use at home or on the road. When we travel to visit family I will bring this set that includes 16 individually wrapped Play-Doh sticks. These are great for families who are on the go. The box costs less than five dollars and is worth every penny.

Sesame Street – Lullaby & Goodnight Elmo

One thing I have noticed being a dad is that there are certain items that kids need to sleep with to make it a good night for parents as well as kids. Some kids will still want to play even though they are in bed and are supposed to be “sleeping.” To avoid the hassle of going back and forth into your kid’s bedroom there are certain nighttime toys that are great for your kids. The Lullaby & Goodnight Elmo is one of those toys. This edition of Elmo is dressed in pajamas and can sing to your child and keep them company while you children drift off to sleep. This Elmo sells for $17.99 and is sold in most retails stores.
