Introducing you to bands you might not know, but totally should.

Purple

All of you connoisseur’s of rock, take note of this band. Purple should be more than on your radar. They should own your radar and then scramble it with how badass they are, and then do shots of tequila over the demise of your radar. This Beaumont TX band has been touring the world recently bringing their insane amounts of energy to stages in France, Scotland and England.

Their mixture of Punk, Grunge and heavy surf rock is a blend of pure good times and fuck-it attitude. The lyrics only back up what their sound suggests. Lead singer Hanna Brewer is also the drummer which is a combo you don’t see super often. Her voice fluctuates from a sweet Kim Deal to a fantastically screeching Karen O. Her bandmates are Taylor Busby who absolutely kills it on guitar and Joe Cannariato on bass guitar who’s….. probably awesome and has a good beard. I wish I knew more to say about him. I can say that if I had to pick one band to party with, it would be Purple…. or The Pogues…. but probably Purple.
