Babs is really learning how to talk.

She can say a handful of words, and even though her “b’s” sound like “m’s,” we still love her.

Just this past week, she started putting two words together, as a phrase.

This is my dad as a baby. He said “I do” to my mom.

When we say: “Who likes pizza?”

Babs says: I do!

That’s right, her first phrase is “I do.” Don’t get married anytime soon, my child.

Babs’ shouts out her other phrase, when something out of the ordinary happens. For example, if I drop my phone on the ground, Babs will look up at me and say, “Oh no.”

Sometimes, Babs will just stare at my sarcastically and say “Oh no.” Even when nothing has happened. I take offense to that. I think she’s making fun of my nose.
