In a way, this is an easy question. Drugs, obviously, maybe stay away from guns and don’t be a mean jerk, but still we wanted to know “What’s something you’ll never let your kid do?” What we heard was a mix of the serious and the hilarious, but then again we’d expect nothing less from our amazing Facebook community. Here’s what some of you guys will never let your kid (or child, Richard James) do:
Frank Bustamante: Disrespect a woman….a lot of young men think abuse is how you get respect. My son sees how much I love and appreciate his mother.
Ronnell McGowan: Hate someone because of the color of their skin.
Jacob Henslee: Play football. I love the sport but it is not worth the beating. So many former players have lost their lives because of it.
Winter Cielencki: Something i hope my kids will never do is become bullies and i will try my best not to let it happen.
Randy Horton: Refuse to try something new (except things like meth and BASE jumping.)
Jerry Tank Rich: Whip or nae nae.
Richard James: Not a lot of people have goats but a lot have children and they will grow up to do what they want too. Remember only goats have kids, people have children.
Matt Milzman: Drink anything underneath the sink. Call me old fashion, but I’m against it.
Kenny Baguio: Root for any San Francisco teams. This is a Oakland household.
Lisa Marie Murray: Definitely NO energy drinks EVER!
Danny Jean Lavoie: Put gauges in their earlobe.
Steve Williams: I never let my kid wear sneakers with characters from movies on them.
Mario Gilles: I’d never let them become hate-mongers, bigots, or anything else resembling that. Teaching them to respect *everyone*.
Arron Lavis: Not experience life. I want them to travel explore educate and be happy within them selves . Make friends with others from around the world.
