I’m a huge Patriots fan.  My mom’s family is from Massachusetts, so every year I would watch football games with my cousins.

Growing up in New Jersey, most of my friends are Giants fans.  For me, it was a tough loss in Superbowl XLII, in 2008, when the Giants beat the then undefeated Patriots.

Yesterday was a huge football day.  If the Patriots and Giants both won their games they would again meet in the Superbowl.

With my son being 1 ½ months old, these are his first NFL playoffs.  When I envisioned the day, Tommy would be in my hands, content, watching the Patriots win and advance to the championship.

The problem is that there are three things my son enjoys doing more than watching football.  In no particular order, they are eating, sleeping, and crying.

During the Patriots game, baby Tommy did just that.  He ate, then he cried, and then he slept for a few hours.  As the Patriots won, he was snacking on milk again.  He could care less about their victory.

However, during the Giants/49ers game, Baby Tommy was content and chilling most of the time.  Since he was happy and awake then, does that make him a Giants fan?

What team do you think my so is rooting for, and who should he be rooting for?
