Star Wars Dads are impressed!

Most of us go out an buy a high chair from the store. For Matthew Regonini he upped the high chair game by making his child an impressive….most impressive AT-ST high chair. Even though Matt built something from the Empire side of things I am guessing Luke Skywalker and the rest of the Rebels would think this is pretty cool.

For those who might not know what an AT-ST is well then let me drop some info on it. The AT-ST was used be the Imperials in battlefields in the Galactic Civil War. The two-man craft is lightly armed with chin-mounted laser cannons, and side-mounted weapon pods. The Imperials used AT-STs in both the Battle of Hoth and the Battle of Endor.

Matthew made the high chair for his son by using a CNC machine that was able to help him make the necessary cuts and slices for each part of the high chair.

Before you build it….

Now before you start to make your own let it be known that Matthew is Art director and designer from the site called Never Not Making. So in other words don’t try this at home. Matthew makes that perfectly clear in his video that you can watch in the YouTube video right above this paragraph.

The finished project!

On his YouTube account, Matthew says that he has been making stuff for most of his life and has been working in the Design/Build professions for almost 20 years. He might even throw in an occasional dad joke in a video.

I think I can speak for everyone here at Life of Dad that you can keep on making those dad jokes since you are building so many wonderful things! Keep up the great work Matthew. It looks like the Force is with you.
