Tommy Riles and Art Eddy talk about sports and Tom’s trip to Australia. Art also chats with former U.S. Men’s Soccer goalie Tony Meola about soccer and fatherhood.
Tony Meola played on both the U.S. Men’s National Team and in the MLS. He was in three FIFA World Cups and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame. During his time playing in the MLS, Tony was named the league MVP in 2000. That year he and his team, the Kansas City Wizards, won the MLS Cup title. Tony Meola, U.S. Men’s Soccer, and Allstate Insurance worked together to surprise a soccer team during their practice session with a special “Good Hands F.C.” soccer clinic coached by one of the best goalkeepers in American soccer history. Meola hosted a team practice and Allstate presented each player with new gear and tickets for the March 22 match between the U.S. Men’s National Team and Costa Rica.
