My guest this week is Bobbi Conner, a highly praised, national child development and parenting journalist, author and parenting speaker. For 24 years Conner produced and hosted the award-winning Parent’s Journal Public Radio program. Conner’s program has been required listening for graduate courses in Education and Child Development at colleges throughout the U.S.

She is the author of Unplugged Play – No Batteries, No Plugs. Pure Fun (a Newsweek Book-Pick-of-the-Week). She is also the author of Everyday Opportunities for Extraordinary Parenting and The Book of Birthday Letters. Her books have been recognized by Parents’ Choice Foundation, Children’s Book-of-the-Month Club, and Publishers Weekly.
