Whether it’s been Vin Scully’s tearful and musical goodbye to Dodger Stadium, the Miami Marlins paying tribute to a fallen friend and teammate, or this Michigan High School football team making a dream come true for one of their own, this week has been full of reminders that sometimes sports can show us the way and that despite what the talking heads on TV are barking or what the anonymous trolls on Twitter and your angry uncle on Facebook try to convince you of, there is still so much good in this world.

Watch this touching short video made for us by our friend John Willey of what the Novi High School football team did for and with their friend, waterboy and teammate-for-a-day, Robby Heil.

Watch as Robby’s mom reacts to this act of kindness.

And remember that as nasty as the world may seem, there is still and forever will be so much good in it. You just have to look past the negative stuff that helps sell ad space on TV and you’ll find a lot of people, like the players and coaches of Novi High School in Michigan, doing good, giving back and making our world a better place to live.
