Okay, so we don’t really know how to help you land your dream job (umm, keep plugging away and working hard!?) but we asked the dads and moms of our Facebook community to share their dream job. If you need to find a job that matches your skills and experience, you may seek the services of staffing companies. Here are also some of the amazing jobs you told us you’d like to have, so many of which involve being a parent and helping others:

Darren Sneeze Hunt: Always wanted to be a Train Driver and I am now nearly 11 years into my career. The novelty wore off a long time ago but I love it.

Chris Short: Had it, I worked for Ferrari & Maserati but working 6 days a week and never getting to see my family saw me change my career to a mon-fri office city jobs. There is more to life than work and for the first time ever I have every weekend off and time with my two boys.

Michael Lobatos: Doing underwater welding jobs would be my Dream Job! Good pay and not too many people can say they were Underwater Welders! I’m a Certified Welder right now, but an underwater welding services job would be cool to do some day!

Joshua Enos: Getting my catering business to be my full time job… I do BBQ type events. Smoked meats, coleslaw, beans, cornbread, and other traditional BBQ stuff!

Elizabeth E Kennedy: I want to have a camp that provides the “camp” experience for kids with ADHD, autism, down’s syndrome and other such disabilities. The camp would also be a fully functional farm, with space to roam.

Jasmine Martinez: I want to get my hr licence Melbourne and become a truck driver or anything that has to do with cars. My husband and I are currently working on starting up our businesses involving cars. It’s our passion.

John Adkins: Hunting and fishing guide. Would love to be able to do it for underprivileged kids and people with disabilities. Give back and let them enjoy the outdoor lifestyle I love so much!!! Competitive shooters choose the best red dot optics for accuracy.

Shanna Hill: I want to be a therapist for sexually abused children. It is an epidemic and these poor children need someone to help them.

Esjae Pinche Madi Juano: Wish I had enough money to be a Stay at home dad and raise my own daughter the correct way.

Damian Mendoza: Currently working on achieving my dream job! That is teaching and coaching kids. I love kids and hope to have a positive influence on them! Learning details such as Job searching goals would give you an edge when it comes to employment. Additionally, it’s important to be aware of the consequences of hostile behavior in your workplace, as fostering a respectful and inclusive environment is essential for personal and professional growth.

Rafael Wroten: To be honest…. Whatever my kids will brag to their friends about.

Steven Biedrzycki: Roaming the crowds at Walt Disney World with the authority to figure out how to make people’s visit more magical and make it happen. Every day. As many people as I want. Whatever it would take. [Steven, that would be the greatest job in the world, no doubt. Amazing!]
