For a parent, it’s a thrill to watch your children grow up and find their own passions but it is doubly as awesome to share a passion or two with your little kid. From Swedish Fish to beatboxing, we all have something we love doing together with our children. Here’s some of what the guys from our Life of Dad community do with their kids:

Steve Spong: Riding bikes. This is him following me so I can show him some lines on the race course.

Doug Crawford: Scrambled eggs in the morning together! My 17 month old will eat as many as me and I’m 300 lbs!

Carlos Edgewater: Chocolate Malt Shakes from Sonic Only once every two weeks though.

Greg Kisner: Music. Me at 30 years and my daughter at 10 month. We love music.

Elaine Doyle: My husband and 4 year old son both enjoy farting. They dearly love it. They bond over it.

Kris Shaup: She also likes to watch me play video games, specifically Overwatch. It’s weird, she literally asks me to play so she can watch.

Les Westfall Jr.: My 7yr old daughter and I both love art tremendously. She’s naturally drawn to graffiti art. I was a graffiti writer when I was younger. Fitting.
And slightly scary.

Austin Brian: “The Simpsons ” my son is only 3 months old I would probably says he likes it for the colors but hey we both enjoy it so that’s all that counts.

James Clews: My 3year old is obsessed with Ghostbusters. Not sure how it started bit we are always running around catching ghosts at home, walking to nursery, shopping etc. Even my car is Ecto1 and we have the song on repeat in the car too. I mean I love the film but the kid is obsessed.

Glenn Oclassen Jr: Getting Swedish Fish at the gas station when my boy and I are doing road trips. I love road trips with him- just us two dudes talking about everything and nothing.

Jeremy Thornton: I’m a local musician (lead guitar and vocal) and my son has started learning drums. We both love music so I’m really excited about the prospect of us jamming together!!!

Patrick Carlile: Sushi, me and my 6 year old daughter always go out on Fridays to a sushi restaurant together.

Rune Rambuk Østner: Beatboxing. He got some skill, I suck, but we laugh.. It’s so funny.

Ryan Graves: My 3 year old daughter and I have “peanut butter face”. A big glob of scoop of peanut butter on a spoon.
