Remember that Pepto-Bismol commercial with the jingle and the dance that have been living in your head for the past ten years or so? Nausea! Heartburn! Indigestion! Upset stomach! Diarrhea!
Well, it’s one of my all-time favorites, and the awesome Pepto team invited me to visit the set for the production of their new commercial, which is a remix of that classic jingle that everyone knows. In this new version, a poor guy tries to enjoy himself at a country western barbecue restaurant, but he can’t join the cowboy style fun because he’s suffering from indigestion after eating too much barbeque. Check out the new commercial below.
I have suffered dearly from stomach troubles myself, so I could relate to this situation. It’s absolute torture to be surrounded by delicious food you cannot eat because you know it’ll give you…nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea!
I was fascinated to see the production of the commercial, and when the experience was over, I could not get the jingle out of my head. Shocking, right? I found myself absently singing it to myself all the time, so I decided to teach the song and dance to my two kids, which turned out to be somewhat crazy.
