Being a single parent is not easy.
Life of Dad user Daniel Danielsson shared the struggles he faces as he tries to raise his daughter.
“I am a single father studying for a masters degree. I do not have any family around, and besides that the economy is really bad, and I work long hours. My daughter is my biggest motivation to be the best version of myself I can be. Words can not describe how much I love my little girl. We will succeed and get through this together. Never give up on your goals and dreams, dads!”
As you can see it’s a struggle… but one that’s worth it to many, including some of our own Life of Dad users.
Vick Kumar: I’m a single dad to my amazing angel..I don’t get that much time to be around him as a father… I am pursuing my phd and working so I can’t afford a legal battle at this time with my kids mom and her family. But I believe a fatherhood is God given right not a court driven fight. I will never give up on my son been through worse to just see him not going give up till the last breath.

Belinda Marie Hinchliffe: This is my husband (surrounded by his children, and grandchildren) he was a single dad in the 80s, back then it was almost unheard of. His daughter is now grown up, and is married (to the younger man in the picture), with 5 daughters of her own. He put himself through uni too. It’s hard, but wanted to show you it can be done, and is worth it in the end.
It sure is.
