Joe Wilson: As a parent, something I must have is children… otherwise I’m not a parent. It also helps to have a sense of humor.
Zach Patrick: At least 1 hr a day to read or do school work. And 1 hr every other day for exercise. The combination of both allows me to educate myself as I educate my son and to always be physically and mentally prepared as a parent. It’s easier to keep up than play catch up!
Paula Jurhs: Dr. Phil said this:. Most people would say that they are willing to die for their children, but what your kids really need is for you to live for them — So live the kind of life that will best support your child’s growth in every way. That’s what you need, the commitment to do that.
Dalos Principle: Routine sleep, it’s very important. Especially if the kids are at the age where routine is important (my oldest is 9), if the parents don’t have routine then you can bet the kids don’t have it either. Most important thing is a routine sleep cycle, the body loves you for it.
Vanessa Fiduccia: Date Nights, or date days…. just dates…period. The opportunity to step away from the children and just be.
Tori Breanne Swartrz: Freaking fruit snacks…my moment of peace. Second place is vodka I have 4 children are under 6 so it’s a necessity!
John Colluns: An SUV with a tarp covering the back seat.
Andrew Orme: Wipes!
You can never have too many wipes. They are like gold. Hoard them.
William Bill Boehm: My Touareg. 4 yr old constantly reminds my wife that her car doesn’t have a sunroof or a map!
Chris Skimming: A good partner to share the responsibilities with.
Randy Horton: Flavored coffee creamer because coffee is now a must.
Greg Kisner: Coffee and music to start the day.
John Harrison: A second attempt to get it right.
Tony Blackwell: I’m simple I guess, I just love having a happy wife.. If she is happy then I know the kids are good.
Nanette Rippere: Washing machine and dryer!
