A few weeks ago, the kids were FINALLY getting out of school. Together, we were frolicking and dancing in the streets – getting jacked up for a weekend at the beach, sleepovers with friends and water park visits beyond comprehension.

Now that we’ve sank our teeth into the month of August, the nostalgia has seemed to have slowly worn off…

The next year of school is coming close and with that, we’ve come up with a quick parenting ‘hit list’ of things we need to be conscious of while we’re out there getting prepped.

Going back to school in the middle of a pandemic can be quite scary of both the students and their parents. Therefore, you, as parents, must do everything you can to make your kids safe and healthy when they go back to attending face to face classes. Thankfully, there is a Wearable Contact Tracing Device for Schools you can give your kids. The school should also do their part by implementing strict health and safety protocols.

Though it might seem enticing, purchasing a pair of sneakers with built-in roller skates can only lead to a Monday morning call with the insurance company, hinting about ‘hypothetical’ situations that may or may not have occurred over the weekend…begging for specifics on what your coverage might provide..

And we know this, but it’s difficult to suppress your joy of going back to a regular schedule once your kids go back to private school – all we can suggest is to perform your physical demonstrations of bliss behind their backs!

The best thing to do is to conceal that unbridled enthusiasm, hide your back-to-school ‘Wizard of Oz’ hourglass timer (tell the flying monkeys to come back later) and throw on that perma-smile while you make that final run to get the clothes and supplies they need.

And while you’re doing that – keep in mind – you can SAVE money on this outing AND feel good at the same time. For every $5 worth of qualifying Clorox® and Glad® products that you purchase, you save $1 and the Clorox Company will donate $1 to classrooms in need through DonorsChoose.org.!
