The City of Angels, aka Los Angeles, is one exciting town. Sure, there are celebrity sightings, but it is also a city rich in professional sports. While enjoying a Lakers game at the Staples Center, I couldn’t help but think about the various entertainment options available, including gambling. Interestingly, I recently learned about Come i Siti di Casino che non Hanno Licenza ADM, which offer unique opportunities for casino enthusiasts. Los Angeles is by far my favorite sports city, and here are four reasons why.

1. Great Basketball: The Lakers and The ClippersLA

The Lakers land on many top ten sports lists and for good reason. With 17 championships you can not deny their dominance. There are a number of dominant Lakers players who  have made hoop history, making the Lakers what they are. Some of those players (my favorite players)  include: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O’Neil, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant and now Steve Nash. For years, celebs have filled the  Staples Center to witness one of sports most respected franchises —just ask Jack Nicholson.

Another LA basketball team is now becoming more relevant. The LA Clippers have been around since the 1970s—well sort of. From the birth of the Buffalo Clippers to the San Diego Clippers and now the  the LA Clippers, the team is finally coming along and making some noise this basketball season. Ranked 4th in the Western Conference and ahead of the Lakers,  some prominent players include Lamar Odom, Chris Paul and Blake Griffin. A divisional win in 2013 would be their first title win; it may be time for my Lakers to take the Clippers a little more seriously.

2. Outstanding Baseball: The Dodgers and the Angels

LA2

Some older folks in Brooklyn still mourn their Dodgers, now the LA Dodgers, but with six World Series titles, a fan can be a fan anywhere at heart. Once coached by the beloved Tommy Lasorda, today’s Dodgers scoring big include Andre Eithier, Chad Billengsley and Matt Kemp. Home is Dodger Stadium for this National League team.

In the American League are the Angels, also a team on the rise with one World Series title and eight Western Divisional titles. Fan favorites include Andrew Romine, Howard Kendrick, Kole Calhoun and pitcher Tommy Hanson. This spring will mark another hopeful year in Angel Stadium so get your Los Angeles Angels Tickets and get ready for announcer Victor Rojas to say “play ball!”

3. Winning at Hockey: The Kings

LA3

One wouldn’t normally compare hockey to sunny Los Angeles but the Kings are proving hockey is a sports fan favorite in LA. The 2012 hockey season led them to their first Stanley Cup and the LA Kings are the only 8th seed team to do so and in the 2013 season, they are holding strong at second place in their division.

The Staples Center is the Kings home base and top scorers include Anze Kopitar, Jeff Carter, Mike Richards and Slava Voynov.

4. Kicking for Wins in Soccer: LA Galaxy

LA4

The popularity of soccer continues to rise and no team seems to win cups as flawlessly as the LA Galaxy team. They have been able to hold the MLS Cup proudly four times including the 2012 Cup. Soccer great David Beckham was on the 2012 team that plays at the Home Depot Center pleasing many but he’s stated he will play elsewhere in 2013.

Omar Gonzalez and Jose Villarreal are fan favorites and the team is currently holding a firm second place in the Western Conference.

Can you see why this dad is a die hard LA fan? If you still think Los Angeles is all about Hollywood and movie stars, think again. It is home to the best pro sports teams with a huge fan following (including myself) and tons of title wins.
