2016 has been the most difficult year by far. It has been filled with sadness, tears and many unknowns. Last year I decided to go back to school to prove something to keep myself and to also show my children that having a higher education is very important in this day in age. Not only am I a full-time father but for the past 17 months a full-time graduate student as well.
As many of you know my world is surrounded by my children, everything I do, I do it for them and without …them there would be a lot of things I wouldn’t have accomplished. Tomorrow, my children will see me walk across a stage receiving a Master’s degree.
I am going to wear a cap & gown with my head held high, put all my worries behind me and walk the stage looking for those three little faces in the crowd. However my greatest accomplishment in life is not my college diplomas but being their father.
