Theme parks are an amazing place to keep the kids entertained while on holiday, as they provide families with the ideal place to spend time outdoors, spend time together, and to make memories that will last forever.
If you are eager to try out a theme park holiday with your family this year, there are so many you can choose from spread out across the globe. However, we have put together a short list of three of our favourite family theme parks:
Legoland Dubai – Dubai, UAE

Made up of six incredible zones – Factory, Lego City, Kingdoms, Imagination, Adventure and Miniland – Legoland Dubai is a theme park aimed at children between the ages of two and twelve and their families, giving them a safe and fun theme park where they can explore and have an adventure of their very own.
The park is home to a wide variety of rides, some of which include boating and driving school, where they will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel on water and on the road for the very first time, take to the deep blue to view and learn about creatures that live underwater in Submarine Adventure and explore Dubai and some of its popular attractions in miniature form at Miniland.
Legoland is a creative space where both you and your children can let your imaginations run wild, defeat dragons and enjoy some quality time together away from technology and other distractions.
Bugz Family Playpark – Cape Town, South Africa
The perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day in South Africa, Bugz Family Playpark has a number of water activities, sandpit areas, colourful jungle gyms, slides, swings, play houses, tree houses, a grand castle and so many obstacles for your little ones to climb all over that they will never want to leave, and if you want you’re in Africa you should check out the climb mount meru Tanzania which is great as well.
The idea behind Bugz Family Playpark is that all of the activities found there help to get your children off the couch and away from technology and spending time outside in the fresh air where they can meet other children their age and learn something new, as well as spend time with their family in a safe and secure place suited for their age group. You can visit cape town night market after.
Magic Kingdom Park – Walt Disney World, Florida

Probably the most magical place on this earth, the Magic Kingdom theme park at Walt Disney World brings together all of your children’s favourite characters in one place giving them the opportunity to meet them, have breakfast with them and to explore some of the rides inspired by them.
Some of the more popular rides and attractions that you will find at the Magic Kingdom include Cinderella Castle, where visitors can step inside the magical castle and explore the main castle corridor, and the handcrafted mosaic murals that tell the classic story of Cinderella, as well as Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which will take you and your little ones on a race through a haunted gold-mining town.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a great first coaster ride for the smaller members of your family, to get them ready for the thrill of the twisting and turning roller coaster when they are a little older.
Where will you take your children this summer during their summer vacation? There are then also some really good theme parks in the UK (you can find a good listing here) so they should certainly be considered, there are lots of them too so you can easily find one near you. Do not miss out on the numerous opportunities these theme parks offer them, keeping them busy and having fun!
