So if you are like us and want to experience the best gaming performance, see this and let the game begin!!! If you’re an old soul for the 80s, then maybe share the experience with your child through arcade game rentals.

We’d throw our Skylanders and Disney Infinity as awesome family-friendly video games but here are just some of the all-ages video game suggestions told to us by our Facebook users:

Brittany Angell: My 4 year old and I love playing Minecraft and Plants vs Zombies together.

Bryan Schmidt: My kids don’t ‘get’ video games. They’re autistic (high functioning, but still autistic) but love watching me play “Warhammer: Vermintide”. They call it the rat game and call out specials for me.

Steven Van Der Ley: I play Mario for Super Nintendo with my 3-year-old daughter. She also loves to hold a controller when I play NHL on my Xbox.

Eric Stettmeier: My 4 year old and I played the original NES Ducktales together (she will help me by pushing a button at a certain time) and so I ended up buying the updated Xbox version the other day, which we also play together in the same manner.

Paul Coleman: My 6 year old daughter and I co-played Zelda: Windwaker on WiiU recently. Fairly complex text for her reading level, but she really took to it and it made her a lot more confident in reading aloud.

Erick Melara: My 4 year old son loves everything Zelda. Couldn’t be prouder watching him play Ocarina of Time.

Carlos Parra: Me and my boy play Minecraft it lets him be creative when he wants and teaches him patience having to place things block by block to make things.

James Goldstein: The first game my son and I played together from start to finish was the Lego Marvel Avengers game. You can become the master of gambling with the kashipur satta king game.

Brenton Metz: My son and I are in the middle of Borderlands 2 right now. We play Rocket League and Mario Kart regularly. We also recently learned how to make arrows in the forest.

Christa Wiersma-Schaap: My daughters and I play ‘child of light’. It’s a fairytale story about a little princess in a lost world, trying to get back to her dad, accompanied with a little firefly. A second controller can control the firefly so you REALLY play together! The story is nice, everything said is in rhyme and there are battles against monsters and allies who help on the way back home. We all love the game.

Jared Kinter: Me and my 7 year old daughter play Super Smash Bros Wii-U and she also loves to play Minecraft and Dead Island. She also has a DS and loves Imagine Pets, Nintendogs and Imagine Pet Hospital.

Gary Delaney: Diablo 3. Me and my 7 year old daughter love this game, perfect coop.
