Dave is a Nashville-based artist/songwriter and Grammy and CMA Awards nominee. Besides working on his own music, he has written for other artists as well such as Blake Shelton (#1 with God Gave Me You), Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris (#1 with Craving You), Tim McGraw, and more. He has toured extensively over the past 15 years as a headlining artist. He has also performed with and/or opened for Bonnie Raitt, Taylor Swift, John Mayer, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, Hanson, Andy Grammar, needtobreathe, One Republic and more.  

He has also released his own three EPs and ten full-length albums, including his newest project, the LP Who Knew It Would Be So Hard To Be Myself, that came out last month.  

Family man:

Barnes is influenced by his wife and children. He enjoys writing great love song too, such as Big Ole Love from his new LP, Soundcloud link below, which is really a wonderful love song he wrote for his family. He and his wife, Annie are blessed with three children.
