About Michael Ketterer
Michael Ketterer won Simon’s Golden Buzzer after his emotional performance dedicated to his six children. Michael and his wife have one biological daughter and five adopted boys from foster care. He also works as a pediatric mental health nurse and has recently opened the first inpatient center in Orange County that takes patients as young as three years old. Michael’s passion for music and performing sparked at a young age when his father, a music pastor in East Tennessee, taught him how to harmonize and to walk on a stage and give it his all. Michael has done the same for his children at home, where music is a daily part of life. The Ketterer home is a safe place where love and acceptance and healing happen, and the freedom to dream is a core value.
