Parents are rejoicing that school is now back in session. Whether your kids are off to elementary, high school or college there is one place that all grade levels will love to gear up for the new school year. It is none other than ThinkGeek. From backpacks to clothes to items for the dorm ThinkGeek has got you covered. a

Here are a few items that your kids will want on their back to school list.

Star Wars Episode VII Tie Fighter BT Speaker

Perfect for a dorm room or your kid’s room this Tie Fighter speaker will “help” with your kids improve their study habits. All joking aside I remember doing homework listening to music. It helped me get through those tedious assignments. Now as my kids do their homework we will play some tunes to help them have a relaxed atmosphere while doing their work.

The iHome TIE Fighter Bluetooth Speaker is on an acrylic stand. When you are using it, it’s a wireless speaker with one-touch connectivity to your Bluetooth device. It can also play music from devices with a standard 3.5mm audio out jack (if it has a standard headphone jack, you’re good). You can even take calls from your Bluetooth-paired device on it.

Marvel Spider-Gwen Backpack

There is a new Marvel animated series out now which has Spider-Gwen, Squirrel Girl and Ms. Marvel. My daughters love all three characters. When they saw that there was a Spider-Gwen backpack they jumped for joy and then landed in the typical super-hero knee on the ground position. It was quite impressive.

This backpack looks like Spider-Gwen’s costume, complete with hot pink and pastel blue web accents and lining. There is a white polyurethane upper to look like the head of Spider-Gwen. The interior has a section for your tablet or laptop. There are a lot of compartments that will be useful for all of those items on the back to school shopping list. This backpack is the perfect combo of utility and geekery.

Harry Potter Platform 9 3/4 Hogwarts Express Sign

This sign is an exclusive to ThinkGeek and will be perfect for a muggle or wizard who is into Harry Potter. My family and I went to Universal earlier this year and rode on the Hogwarts Express. This sign will always take us back to that memorable time. This is must have for anyone who wants to feel like they can go to Hogwarts anytime of the day. Just make sure you are walking through the right wall!
