Craig Johnson is this week’s guest on The Life of Dad After Show. He talks about his new book, Champion, his family and talking about autism.
In the interview…
Craig and Samantha Johnson experienced the abrupt, life-altering encounter with autism when their son, Connor, was diagnosed at 2 years old. The little boy they once knew was no longer the same. When Connor was five years old, he finally spoke for the first time in three years. Through their experience, the Johnson’s realized the urgent need to serve families with special needs kids – and so they launched “Champions Club” — a state-of-
the-art developmental area for kids, youth, and adults with special needs. Champions Clubs have now been implemented in 65 locations worldwide. Champions Club aims to meet the intellectual, mental, and physical developmental needs of special needs kids.
Craig Johnson and his family have made it their mission to pioneer a movement for special needs families to know their children are safe and loved. 65 Champions Clubs around the world including United States, Canada, Colombia, Argentina, Guatemala, Mexico, Sweden, India, Africa, and Australia.
