Rainy, awful and hot days stuck indoors with kids can be brutal. Days on end of indoor drudgery, trying to figure out inventive ways to keep them entertained is exhausting. With all of the toys and electronics we hoard around the house, you’d think they could entertain themselves. You would be wrong, of course. Would it be too much to ask to have kids who actually liked the toys they own? Be that as it may, the solution that always works for me is a dance party. Amazing how quickly things can go from boring and drab, to raucous and energized. The band I like to blast for these impromptu discos is Astro. Upbeat, synth-pop with a late 80’s feel to it brightens everyone’s mood. Add this Chilean band to your lists. They’re pretty fantastic. And so are you. A Chilean band that is. You’re probably fantastic though. Who can tell?
