You’re going to have a hard time finding a definitive genre to put GGOOLLDD into (that is such a pain in the dick to type) because they pull from so many genres to create their own brand of Rock….. New-Wave Punk…… Electronica…… Dreamwave????? Still, I can’t think of anyone who would not love the artistry they weave into every song. Missed opportunities to be signed on major labels were no mistake. They literally formed as an excuse to throw a party and have written their own rules from that moment on. Producing their own tracks while focusing on performance over polish, their often anthemic pop tinged everything is completely unique and rad.
