Ballet Officer Brown
As dads we try to be there for our kids. There are days where our job makes it difficult for us to help out at school or be there for practice. Yet we do what we can to support our children. For Officer Cody Brown of the Castle Rock Police Department in Colorado, he took a few minutes from his job to be there with his daughter for her ballet lesson.
Officer Brown went to his daughter, Tessa’s ballet practice in a dance studio vancouver. You can see in the video below that he is all in as he is performing all the dance steps with his daughter. It was a big deal for Tessa because her ballet class was holding a Bring Dads to Dance night. As Tessa was smiling her father was dancing right along with her. Cody even took part in barre practice, and even practiced a chaîné.
Going all in…
Most of the time we don’t see ballet dancers wear a badge, gun, and full police uniform. Brown had a good reason for that. He kept his uniform on in case he had to answer an emergency call.

Once Brown’s wife, Kristen uploaded the video to the internet people started to take note. The video is now being shared in homes and dance studios all around the country.
We have to hand it to Officer Brown because while the other dads might have been in some comfortable clothes to dance with their daughters, Brown danced in full police uniform. That is going above and beyond Officer Brown! Keep up the great work!
