Is The Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie?

On The Show:

Is The Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie? Let us know your thoughts as Art Eddy and Patrick Quinn debate that issue. Plus you can win some prizes!
Here are some of the viewers thoughts on the topic:
Colin L. Racicot Is it the story of Santa wanting to innovate Christmas or Jack wanting to innovate Halloween? Yes, the later. It’s a Halloween movie! Jack wants to bring something new to the world of Halloween, it’s from his perspective. In the end, he acknowledges he’s all Halloween deep inside (even though Christmas spirit lifts the village of Halloween in the end.) 🙂
Tim Moody Sr. All year long. Love that movie.
Steven Marshall It works well for both holidays.
Caitlin Brummett What about Home Alone? Is that considered a Christmas movie?
