CrossfireOne of my favorite parts of the annual Toy Fair in New York City is to find out what NERF has in store for us each year. They are a company in my opinion that is very innovative and seems to raise the bar each year. Just like in past years NERF didn’t disappoint for 2014. Here are some of the cool blasters they will have available this year.

NERF ZOMBIE STRIKE CROSSFIRE BOW

I am a big fan of zombies. I especially love the hit AMC show “The Walking Dead.” Now NERF has come out with a very cool crossbow to help you take down zombies. It is there Zombie Strike Crossfire Bow. The darts are loaded in the front of the bow and can blast in the air with a distance of 75 feet. The good thing is that you don’t have to be too close to the zombies to take them out. The further you are from them the better. The crossbow lets you use the pull-back function of a real crossbow to give it that authentic feel to it. The toy is geared for kids 8 years and up. It sells for $19.99

NERF N-STRIKE MEGA MAGNUS BLASTER mega

The Magnus Blaster is no joke. This one comes with MEGA darts and shoots up to a distance of 85 feet. The blaster is small and compact to let you be more mobile while you play. A cool feature is the integrated internal clip to help you reload faster. The MEGA darts will also whistle in the air while they are in flight. The Magnus Blaster sells for $14.99 and is meant for kids 8 years and up.

NERF SUPER SOAKER TRI STRIKE CROSSBOW WATER BLASTER

With all the crazy amounts of snow here in the Northeast part of the country, I am so looking forward to the summer. Apparently NERF can’t wait for the summer months either. In springtime you will be able to get the Tri Strike Crossbow for $24.99. This is a great way to keep your kids cool in the hot days of summer. The water blaster has range of 35 feet. All you need to do is pump the blaster and then fire the water to be able to soak your targets. It has two deployable blast arms supersoakerfor three streams of water. No one will want to mess with you in the summer.
