Art and CraftspicThis week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we made our last Halloween craft for the year. My daughters wanted to make another Halloween craft before the 31st. We had made plenty of ghosts, pumpkins, and black cats. We wanted to do something different. They asked me what we should make and I thought of making a mummy. They really didn’t know too much about mummies so I gave them a quick little lesson. After that we decided to make our own mummies.

Materials Needed:

Construction Paper

White Crepe Paper Streamer

Glue or tape

Marker

Scissorsmummy

Directions:

First take a sheet of construction paper, preferably black. Cut out a human figure outline. Next start cutting strips of the white crepe paper streamers. Fold the streamer in half and tape one end to the cut out. Wrap the entire paper doll with the streamer paper. After you are done with the mummy wrapping use a marker for eyes, a mouth, and a nose. Now you have a mummy doll for Halloween.

We hope you enjoyed these Halloween crafts this month here at Life of Dad. Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
