This week for our Art and Crafts segment here at Life of Dad we are getting ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. We are making shamrock people. We got some shamrock cutouts from our local crafts store to use as our base. The other materials we had at home. Most of the items should be around your house.
Materials Needed:
Glue stick
Googly eyes
Shamrock cutouts
Markers
Tape
Scissors
Construction Paper
Directions:
Take a shamrock cutout and have your child decorate it with drawing eyes, nose, and a mouth. Once the face is complete cut out some pieces of construction paper for arms, legs, feet, and hands. Tape the arms and legs to the shamrock. Tape the hands to the arms and the feet to the legs. Now you and your kids just created some cool shamrock people.
