We all have been there. You had a day where everything seems to go wrong. You overslept. You got coffee on your shirt before work. You hit all the red lights in traffic. It is the kind of day that you wish would end, but it is not even lunch time. Fortunately we have good days too.
Some might feel that they have more bad days than good just like the main character Alexander in Disney’s family film “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.” This is a heartwarming comedy that will have your entire family laughing out loud. It is based on the best-selling book and it follows the exploits of Alexander as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life and wonders if bad things only happen to him. But he discovers he’s not alone when his dad (Steve Carell), mom (Jennifer Garner) and family live through their own terrible – and hilarious – day.
This film is perfect for the family movie night. It has comedy as well as a fantastic message of how a family can come together. I am a huge fan of Steve Carell, who does a fantastic job playing the role of Alexander’s dad. The cast works well together to provide a believable story.
