bigleaguedadsWe are coming closer to the end of this year’s Major League Baseball 2013 season. Some of you are excited to see that your team still has a shot of playing in the postseason. Still others know that the possibility of their team making it to the postseason is not in the cards this year.

Yet there is a cool campaign going around the big leagues that everyone can cheer for. Some notable players like Ben Zobrist (Tampa Bay Rays), Torii Hunter (Detroit Tigers), and Chris Sale (Chicago White Sox) are working with Dove Men+Care for their Big League Dad campaign.

Go to MLB.com/DoveMenCare to check out videos from these guys sharing their thoughts on fatherhood. If you are on Twitter use the hashtag #BigLeagueDads to follow along this 10-week behind-the-scenes, custom video series made specifically for MLB.com.

In the first video you can see that Ben, Torii, and Chris have a strong passion for fatherhood. I love Torii’s take on fatherhood as he makes sure to soak up every minute of his time with his kids since he travels a lot during the season. Chris knows that what he starts teaching his son now will have a lasting effect as his son becomes a man. hunter

Dove Men+Care picked the right dads to highlight what it means to be a father.  These three fathers all have fantastic viewpoints on fatherhood. Torii is a father of four, Ben had two kids, and Chris has one child. This program started today and will continue each week with a new group of baseball’s most popular players that will be shown in a whole new light. They will be opening up about fatherhood and how they care for what matters most.  Truly this players are comfortable in their own skin!
