Okay your fantasy football league is over. How did you do? Did you win the championship or did you finish dead last in your league? There is pretty much nothing more you need to do in regards to your fantasy football league. Most of you are waiting for next season. That is unless you are in a keeper league. It is a bit early to select your keepers, but there is no time like the present. With that notion here is breakdown of players in each position you may want to lock in for the 2015 season.

Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck

Rodgers threw for 4,155 yards with 40 touchdowns and only six turnovers. If you had Rodgers and one of his wide receivers this year I am guessing you won your league.

Andrew Luck threw for the same amount of TD’s as Rodgers, but had 600 more passing yards. These two quarterbacks are a no brainer to select as keepers in your league.

Running BacksLeVeon-Bell-4

Le’Veon Bell and Eddie Lacy

Le’Veon Bell was a beast this year for fantasy football owners. There are many upsides to Bell. He is young, averaged 18 or more carries in 10 games this year and he is one of Big Ben’s favorite targets as a receiver which adds more value to him especially in a PPR league.

When you have a quarterback like Aaron Rodgers that can cut up a defense a strong running back like Eddie Lacy will always benefit from it. Teams will less likely stack eight men in the box which will make it easier for Lacy to gain yards and run right into the end zone. Lacy is young and can block, catch, and help out Rodgers when needed. Lacy should have an even better season in 2015.

Wide Receivers

Antonio Brown, Demaryius Thomas, Jordy Nelson, T.Y. Hilton, and Odell Beckham Jr.

Antonio Brown could be considered as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He seems to always find the end zone. He is a sure bet for getting over 100 yards in each game. He will be looking to repeat his stats from the 2014 season next year.

Odell Beckham Jr. is not only fun to watch, but EIi Manning has relied on the sure handed rookie when veteran wide out Victor Cruz left the season early due to injury. Next year the Giants will have Cruz on one side and Beckham Jr. on the other. Eli will have a field day passing to both of these guys. If you picked up Odell this year keep him for next season. Everyone can’t wait to see what he does for an encore in his sophomore year in the NFL.

Jordy Nelson had over 90 catches for the first time in his career. He seems to be a true go-to guy for Rodgers. He led the NFL with 5 catches over 60 yards. That definitely helps out fantasy owners week to week.

Tight Ends

Rob Gronkowski, Martellus Bennett, and Julius Thomas

The Gronk is a must have in fantasy leagues now. He was able to play for the entire season and record some fantastic numbers. Brady loved throwing to redeye-martellus-bennett-bears-nicknames-20131-001him in the red zone and he couldn’t be stopped.

Julius Thomas was plagued with some injuries, but will be able to put up stats fantasy owners have come to rely on him for the past few years in 2015.

I know not having Jimmy Graham on this list is shocking to some. He is a great guy to have as a keeper, but I am going with Martellus Bennett. He had one heck of a year and should be able to keep finding the end zone next season. He had seven touchdowns for the 2014 season and was targeted a bunch of times each game. Having defenders try to stop Bennett’s teammates Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery gives Bennett an advantage week in and week out.

So there you have it. Let me know what you think of my list and who you might keep for the 2015 season!
